In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showcased varied performance trends, as highlighted by Sensor Tower data.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 31.8K at the start of October and experiencing a gradual decrease to 13.1K by the end of December. The app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, starting with approximately 1.58M and ending the quarter at 1.53M.
Google Earth experienced stable download numbers, with a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching 15.3K. Active user numbers showed a notable dip in early October but recovered to finish the quarter at approximately 244K.

Lastly, Digital Compass for Android had a steady revenue stream, peaking at $120 in mid-October. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 5K and ending at 5.6K. Active users increased from 88K to 111K by the end of the quarter.
