In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top platformer games on Android in Australia showcased diverse performance trends, offering insights into user engagement and revenue generation. According to Sensor Tower, here are the highlights of these games' performance:
Subway Surfers from SYBO Games demonstrated a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, growing from around 4.7K in early October to a peak of 9.7K by late December. The game's weekly revenue saw fluctuations, peaking at approximately $574 in early December. Meanwhile, weekly active users varied significantly, reaching a high of about 94.8K in mid-December.
Build A Queen by Supersonic Studios LTD experienced moderate growth in downloads, with numbers rising from about 5K at the start of the quarter to over 6K by the end. Despite minimal revenue, the game maintained a steady user base, with weekly active users peaking at around 16.2K just before Christmas.
Geometry Dash Lite from RobTop Games maintained a consistent download rate, culminating in a peak of 6.2K in the week leading up to Christmas. The game's active users showed a gradual increase, reaching approximately 68.8K by the end of the quarter.
Weapon Master: Action Gun Game from Homa saw a decline in both downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased from about 5.6K to 4K, while active users dropped from 22.6K to 15.2K. Revenue, however, experienced a notable peak of $375 in mid-October.
Lastly, Going Balls, also by Supersonic Studios LTD, showed a stable download trajectory, with a notable increase towards the end of December, reaching nearly 4.9K. Active users saw a resurgence during the same period, climbing to about 30K.
