In the fourth quarter of 2024, the consumer finance app landscape in Portugal on iOS saw varied performance among the top players. According to data from Sensor Tower, here is a breakdown of the trends for the top five applications.

Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced a high level of engagement with weekly active users starting at approximately 413K and rising to nearly 489K by the end of December. Weekly downloads began at about 12.4K, peaking mid-October at 13.5K, before declining to around 8.6K by the quarter's end.

Caixadirecta maintained a consistent presence with active users fluctuating between 279K and 310K. Downloads started at 4.4K, gradually decreasing to around 2.5K, with a notable increase to 3.2K in late December.

Santander Portugal showed a stable trend in active users, ranging from 269K to 278K. Downloads started at 3K and saw fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with a slight rise to 2.7K.

Millenniumbcp saw an increase in active users from 180K to 217K, with downloads showing minor fluctuations, starting at 2.3K and peaking at 2.4K in late December.

Lastly, Universo - Mobile Banking had a relatively stable download rate, beginning at 1.6K and ending at 1.2K. Unfortunately, active user data was not available for this period.
