In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top meal kits and specialty foods apps on iOS in Sweden exhibited varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's an overview of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.5K and dropping to 528 by mid-December, before a slight recovery to 1K at the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from over 20K to around 13K by the end of December.
Vivino: Drink The Right Wine experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.6K in late November and again at the end of December. Downloads were steady, with a notable increase to over 1.3K by the quarter's end. Active users grew significantly from 14K to over 26K, indicating a strong engagement increase.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery maintained a low download rate, averaging around 300 weekly, with a slight peak to 462 in mid-November. Active users showed a modest increase from 1K to just under 1.7K by the end of December.
Linas Matkasse downloads started at 160 and decreased to 20 by late December, with a slight rebound to 105 in the final week. This app did not report any active user data.
CrowdFarming had a relatively stable download rate, with a peak of 168 in mid-November. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 1K throughout the quarter.
