In the fourth quarter of 2024, the leading insurance apps on the iOS platform in Germany showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps and their key metrics:
TK-App by Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) saw a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 9K and 17.5K. The app experienced a notable peak at the end of December, reaching approximately 17.5K downloads. Weekly active users exhibited a general upward trend, starting at about 104K and closing the quarter at around 118K.
Meine Allianz from Allianz Deutschland AG showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads during October and November, peaking at 11.2K in mid-November. Downloads then tapered off before surging to 14.6K in the final week of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 26.5K to nearly 40K by the end of the quarter.
My AXA Mobile by AXA recorded weekly downloads starting at 6.2K and peaking at over 10K in late October. Despite a decline towards the end of the quarter, the app maintained a solid presence with downloads around 6K in the last week.
HUK Mein Auto from HUK-COBURG Datenservice und Dienstleistungen GmbH experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads through November, reaching 10.5K in the last week of that month. Active users mirrored this growth, increasing from 33.7K to over 42K by the quarter's conclusion.
Finally, Barmenia displayed stable download numbers, ranging from 2.6K to 3.6K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but maintaining a consistent base of around 58K.
