In the fourth quarter of 2024, the shoot'em up category on iOS in Portugal showcased notable trends across its top five games. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
1945 Air Force: Airplane Games experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K in mid-December. Downloads gradually increased, reaching approximately 426 in the week before Christmas. Active users also saw a steady climb from 1.2K to nearly 1.6K by the end of the year.
Survivor!.io had a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a peak of $555 in early November. Downloads were fairly consistent, hovering around 309 towards the end of December. Notably, active users surged to 2.8K in the final week of the quarter.
Ball Blast Cannon blitz mania maintained a modest revenue, peaking at $69 in late December. Weekly downloads showed a recovery trend, reaching 359 in the lead-up to Christmas. Active users increased steadily, ending the quarter at 2.5K.
Archero saw its highest revenue at $876 in mid-October, with downloads peaking at 294 by the end of December. Active users rose from 1.6K to 1.9K over the quarter.
Finally, Avia Arena demonstrated a strong entry with downloads reaching 1K in mid-November.
