In the final quarter of 2024, the consumer finance app market in the United Arab Emirates showcased dynamic trends across the top applications on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. The following insights are based on data provided by Sensor Tower.
Splitwise maintained a stable performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $1.1K in late September and closing the year at around $923. Downloads showed a significant rise, particularly in December, reaching 1.8K. However, active users experienced a slight decline from about 36.9K to 33.7K.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, ending December with a high of $642. Downloads were relatively modest, with a noticeable increase to 347 in the last week. Active users showed a steady rise, beginning at 1.5K and reaching 1.6K by the end of the quarter.
YNAB experienced consistent revenue, with weekly figures ranging around $500, peaking mid-quarter. Though downloads were low, a notable spike to 149 occurred at the end of December. Active users increased steadily, starting at 160 and reaching 235 by the year's end.
FinArt: AI Expense Tracker saw a stable revenue stream, with weekly figures fluctuating between $249 and $446, closing the quarter at $365. Downloads were minimal, but active users remained relatively stable, with a slight uptick to 2.3K by December.
Spendee: Budget App & Tracker showed a varied revenue trend, peaking at $455 in late November. Downloads remained low, with a few spikes, and active users experienced a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at 94.
