In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five food and drink applications in Brazil displayed diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each app's journey through the quarter, based on data from Sensor Tower.
BLW Brasil - Alimentação Bebês from BLW SOCIAL PTE. LTD. saw a peak in weekly revenue at around $19.2K during the week of November 25. Downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 5.4K at the beginning of October and ending the year at about 3.3K. The app maintained a solid base of active users, peaking at 95.3K mid-December before declining to 71.5K by the end of the year.
Vivino: Drink The Right Wine experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $8.7K in the final week of December. Downloads also saw a significant rise, peaking at about 7.3K in late December. Active users grew steadily, culminating in a high of 465.5K in the week of December 23.
Oeni: #1 Wine Cellar Manager from Oeni displayed moderate revenue growth, with a peak of around $2.1K in early November. Downloads were relatively low, with a notable rise to 2.4K in the last week of the year. Active users consistently increased, reaching a peak of 5.1K at the end of December.
ChefsClub from ChefsClub.com.br experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $687 and dropping to $194 by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, beginning at 170 and decreasing to just 6. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.1K at the start and ending at 650.
Gronda: Recipes for Chefs from Gronda GmbH had a stable revenue performance, with a peak of $856 in the last week of December. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 88 in mid-October. Active users showed a slight decline, ending the year with 136.
