In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app market in Germany showcased notable trends across top applications, according to Sensor Tower data.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge from dwins GmbH saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $202K by the end of December. Downloads surged towards the end of the quarter, reaching 56.6K, while active users increased from 1.2M to 1.4M.
Outbank: Intelligent Banking experienced modest performance shifts. Revenue reached its highest at around $10K in early October, with downloads showing a slight increase to 609 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at 6.7K.
Splitwise demonstrated a steady presence, with revenue peaking at $3.3K at the close of the year. Downloads increased significantly in December, reaching 23.6K, while active users showed a recovery, closing at 845K.
MoneyControl Spending Tracker by Priotecs IT GmbH maintained a consistent performance. Revenue peaked at about $1.4K at year-end, with downloads showing an uptick to 1.5K. Active users also rose, finishing the quarter at 25.1K.
Finally, YNAB ended the quarter with revenue around $1K, while downloads increased to 727. Active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 7.4K.
