In the first quarter of 2025, the city building game genre on Android in Portugal showcased varied performance across different metrics. Here's a closer look at the top five games in this category.
Super City: Building Master from XGame Global saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 3.7K and dropping to approximately 940 by the end of March. Revenue remained low but peaked at $26 in late March, while active users increased from 629 in early March to nearly 3K by the end of the quarter.
Gold Rush: Frozen Adventures by SayGames Ltd had a steady decline in weekly downloads from over 2K to 387. Revenue was minimal, with a brief peak of $8 in early February. Active users also followed a downward trend, decreasing from over 4K to just under 3K.
State Connect: Traffic Control from CASUAL AZUR GAMES experienced modest revenue peaking at $15 in late January. Downloads decreased from 2.3K to 845, while active users showed a recovery towards the end of March, reaching 1.4K.
Transport Tycoon Empire: City by Alda Games maintained steady revenue, peaking at $116 in mid-February. Downloads were consistent, ranging between 332 and 872, and active users peaked at 1.7K in early February.
SimCity BuildIt from ELECTRONIC ARTS showed strong revenue performance, peaking at $789 by the end of March. Downloads saw a rise to 762 in early March, and active users reached a high of 7.3K in the same period.
