In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Chile showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at how these apps fared.
World App - Worldcoin Wallet saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 10K at the beginning of January and dropping to around 2.2K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 193K and 208K throughout the quarter.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a peak in downloads during mid-January, reaching over 7K, but this number decreased to about 2.2K by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 41K and decreasing to 33K by late March.
Sweat Wallet maintained a modest download rate, beginning with 486 weekly downloads and ending with 322. The app's active users remained steady, with numbers ranging from 18K to 22K over the quarter.
Moonshot had a notable increase in downloads in mid-January, reaching 1.8K, before dropping to just 23 by the end of March. Active user numbers mirrored this pattern, peaking at 2.6K and then declining to 594.
Finally, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed relatively stable download numbers, starting at 559 and hovering around 377 by March's close. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly between 2.1K and 2.5K.
