In the first quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in the UK on the Android platform showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s UK saw weekly downloads fluctuate, with a peak of 31.3K in early January and a slight decline towards the quarter's end, finishing at around 26K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users reaching a high of 1.9M in mid-February.
The Greggs App - Food & Drink experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 29.6K in early February. Active users showed consistent growth, reaching approximately 695K by mid-March.
For Burger King UK, weekly downloads spiked dramatically to 49.4K in early March, while active users peaked at 286K in the same period.
KFC UKI – Order and Delivery maintained stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight rise in mid-March to 15.2K. Active users showed a significant increase, peaking at 382K in mid-March.
Finally, Domino's Pizza Delivery UK&ROI held steady in downloads, with a slight uptick to 13.1K in mid-March. Active users peaked at 501K in late January, showing a robust engagement throughout the quarter.
