In the first quarter of 2025, Austria's Android platform saw interesting trends in the fish games category. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Fishdom by Playrix maintained a steady presence with weekly revenue peaking at around $41K in early January, before gradually declining to approximately $30K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a notable increase in mid-February, reaching over 1.3K, while active user numbers slightly dropped from 9.3K to 8K throughout the quarter.
World of Water from StarFortune experienced modest weekly revenue, reaching a high of about $1K in February. Downloads were minimal, with a peak of just 21 in late March. Active users hovered around 500 throughout the quarter, showing little fluctuation.
Fishdom Solitaire, also by Playrix, saw a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $798 in mid-March. However, downloads were nonexistent, and active users dwindled from 53 to 21 over the quarter.
Top Fish: Ocean Game by StarFortune maintained low revenue, peaking at $268 in January. Downloads were sparse, with a maximum of 11 in mid-March, and active users remained stable at around 80.
Finally, Hungry Shark Evolution from Ubisoft Entertainment showed a varied performance with weekly revenue starting at $240 and ending at $128. Downloads ranged from 239 to 402, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 2.3K.
