During the first quarter of 2025, geolocation games on the Android platform in Ireland showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five applications based on data from Sensor Tower.
Pokémon GO experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $19K in late February. Weekly downloads saw an increase mid-quarter, peaking at 521 in the same period. Active users showed a fluctuating trend, starting at around 34K and reaching nearly 40K before settling at 36K by the end of March.
Jurassic World Alive saw a steady rise in revenue, culminating in $647 by the end of the quarter. Downloads had a significant spike in early March, reaching 130, while active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 500 and 590 throughout the period.
Monster Hunter Now showed a varied revenue trend, with a peak at $356 in early February. Downloads were modest, peaking at 34 in mid-March. Active user numbers hovered around 1K, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.
COIN: Always Be Earning had a revenue increase, hitting $346 in early March. However, the app did not record new downloads during this period. Active users decreased over the quarter, starting at 57 and ending at 32.
Atlas Earth - Buy Virtual Land showed a revenue peak of $219 at the end of March. Downloads were minimal, with a slight increase to 13 in the final week. Active users declined from 154 to 99 throughout the quarter.
