In the first quarter of 2025, the top 5 idler games on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at each game's metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Gold & Goblins: Idle Merger from AppQuantum saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $400K in mid-February. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 54.8K and dropping to 15K by the end of March. Active users also declined steadily from 90.8K to 62.7K over the quarter.
The Tower - Idle Tower Defense by Tech Tree Games experienced an upward revenue trend, reaching a high of $184K in mid-March. Downloads peaked at 13K in early February before stabilizing around 8.5K. Active users increased to 24.3K in early March, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
Idle Zombie Miner: Gold Tycoon from Royal Ark maintained stable revenue growth, peaking at $137K in early March. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 54.2K and ending at 13.7K. Active users showed resilience, peaking at 77.1K in January, before settling at 52.9K by March end.
Idle Lumber Empire: Tycoon Inc also from AppQuantum showed a gradual decrease in revenue, ending the quarter at $48K. Downloads began at 22.9K and fell to 8.7K. Active users saw a decline from 43.6K to 26K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Carnival Tycoon: Idle Games by Wild Candle Spin LLC had a notable revenue increase, reaching $77K by the end of March. Downloads saw growth, peaking at 16.1K. Active users increased steadily from 48.9K to 78.6K.
