In the first quarter of 2025, the insurance app landscape on the Android platform in Latin America showed varied performance across the top five applications. Here's a breakdown of their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Honda Serviços Financeiros saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in March, where they peaked at around 73K. Despite this, the active user base exhibited fluctuations, starting at roughly 969K and reaching up to 1.27M, before settling at approximately 1M by the end of the quarter.
Tele Sena experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting from about 48K and dropping to around 13K by early March. However, active users saw a resurgence towards the end of the quarter, climbing back to around 621K after a dip.
Bradesco Seguros maintained a steady download rate, with weekly figures ranging from 17K to 28K. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at approximately 543K in mid-January and then stabilizing around 517K by the end of March.
Porto: Seguros, Cartão e Bank had consistent download figures, averaging around 20K to 24K weekly. Active users remained robust, starting at 1.23M and reaching up to 1.34M in March, indicating a strong user base retention.
Unimed Nacional showed a positive trajectory in downloads, beginning at 12K and rising to 26K. The app also saw growth in active users, starting at 248K and increasing to 370K by the quarter's end.
