In the first quarter of 2025, the superhero game genre on Android in Finland showcased some intriguing trends. According to Sensor Tower data, five leading titles exhibited varied performance in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. saw fluctuating weekly revenue, with a notable peak of about $4.2K at the end of January. Downloads reached their zenith in mid-February with 64K, while active users showed a slight overall decline from 711K to 662K by the end of the quarter.
Marvel Contest of Champions, published by Kabam Games, Inc., experienced a surge in revenue, peaking at $2.8K in mid-March. Downloads were highest in early February at 100K, though active users decreased from 332K to 272K over the quarter.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG by Scopely showed a significant increase in revenue, reaching $2.1K at the end of March. Downloads peaked in late January at 153K, while active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around 500K.
Invincible: Guarding the Globe from Ubisoft Entertainment displayed a steady rise in revenue, culminating at $516 in late March. Downloads began to pick up in March, peaking at 51K, and active users increased from 100K to 166K.
Lastly, MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble showed a decrease in revenue, bottoming out at $52 in early March. Despite low download numbers, active users rose from 362K to 386K by the end of the quarter.
