The first quarter of 2025 has been an eventful period for turn-based tactics games on the Android platform in the United States. Utilizing data from Sensor Tower, we dive into the performance of the top five games in this category.
Bowmasters: Archery Shooting from Playgendary Limited saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $3.5K and peaking at $3.8K mid-March. Downloads fluctuated, reaching their highest at approximately 42.7K in early March. Active users mirrored this trend, initially declining but then rising to about 226K in the same period.
Tank Stars, published by CASUAL AZUR GAMES, experienced a gradual decline in revenue, ending the quarter at $1.2K. Downloads saw a significant surge in March, peaking at around 14.8K. Active users followed a similar pattern, with a peak of 84.9K towards the end of March.
Archery Bastions: Castle War displayed a varied performance. Revenue started at $836 and saw a slight dip, ending at $726. Downloads remained steady, with a small decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual decrease from 104K to about 88K.
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ by Snowprint Studios AB maintained strong revenue, starting at $244K and experiencing fluctuations, concluding at $250K. Downloads decreased over the quarter, starting at 12.9K and falling to 4.8K. Active users remained stable around the 100K mark.
Finally, Fire Emblem Heroes from Nintendo Co., Ltd. had a robust revenue performance, beginning at $267K and stabilizing to approximately $203K. Downloads remained consistent, around 3K weekly. Active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining around 70K throughout the quarter.
