During the first quarter of 2025, the top tycoon games on the Android platform in the United Kingdom demonstrated intriguing performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these games fared:
Township from Playrix showed a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $166K in late March. Downloads initially dipped but recovered to exceed 37K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 140K.
Family Island™ — Farming game by Melsoft Games Ltd experienced a modest revenue increase, reaching approximately $66K in late February. Downloads rose steadily to about 4.7K in mid-March, while active users increased to over 12K by the end of the quarter.
Klondike Adventures: Farm Game from VIZOR APPS LTD. had a slight decline in revenue, with figures around $58K in late February. Downloads decreased significantly, dropping from over 8K at the start to under 2K by the end of March. Active users maintained a steady range of around 32K to 40K.
Hay Day by Supercell saw an increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $47K in early March. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at over 3K and decreasing to around 1.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users, however, remained strong, closing at over 58K.
Finally, SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts experienced a consistent revenue rise, reaching about $22K in early March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 3.4K in early March and active users remained fairly steady, ending the quarter at 35K.
