During the first quarter of 2025, the arcade sports category on iOS in Norway showcased interesting trends. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top five apps in this category.
Ping Pong Hit demonstrated fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 264 in early January. Despite a decline in downloads mid-quarter, they rebounded to 224 by the end of March. The app maintained a stable active user base, hovering around 1.7K towards the end of the quarter.
Super Goal: Fun Soccer Game experienced a varied pattern in weekly revenue, with a noticeable peak of $34 in mid-February. Downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 475, tapering to 104 by the end of March. Active users decreased steadily, ending at approximately 550.
Score! Hero showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $302 in the final week of March. While downloads started strong at 322, there was a decline mid-quarter, before a slight rise to 149 by March end. Active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at around 2K.
Football Strike maintained a strong revenue performance, reaching $382 in early March. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 356 and dropping to 74 by the end. Active users displayed a slight decline, ending the quarter at approximately 2.3K.
Head Ball 2 - Soccer Game had a surge in downloads in late February, reaching 232, with a similar trend in revenue peaking at $214 in early March. Active users saw a recovery towards the end, closing at 1.5K.
