In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top 5 Chibi games on the iOS platform in Costa Rica showcased a variety of trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Hello Kitty friends, Lunchbox maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads ranging from 54 to 125, peaking in early February. Active users showed a stable trend with slight fluctuations, starting at around 449 and peaking at 512 in early February. Revenue was minimal, with a brief spike to $15 in late February.
Cut the Rope: Physics Puzzle experienced varied weekly revenue, peaking at $56 in mid-March. Weekly downloads saw a significant increase towards the end of March, reaching 250. Active user numbers also showed a notable rise from 89 to 279 by the end of the quarter.
Fireboy and Watergirl: Online had a steady decline in both downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Initial downloads started at 117, dropping to 31 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 1,073 to 741. Revenue remained negligible.
Pou generated consistent weekly revenue, starting at $107 and gradually decreasing to $33. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 89 at the start of the quarter and dipping to 45 by the end. Active users showed a slight decline from 1,561 to 1,248.
Purple Place - Classic Games saw a decrease in downloads early in the quarter, with a recovery to 94 by the end of March. Revenue began at $94 and concluded at $45, while active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of March, from 625 to 719.
