In the first quarter of 2025, Norway's top consumer finance applications on iOS revealed interesting trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at the performance of these leading apps.
Revolut: Send, spend and save saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.6K and ending the quarter at around 2.7K. Despite this, the app maintained a robust active user base, starting with 58K and climbing steadily to about 77.4K by the end of March.
DNB Mobile Bank began the quarter with weekly downloads of about 1.9K, peaking at 2.4K mid-January. It concluded the period with a slight decrease to 1.7K. The app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, rising from 188K to approximately 217K.
SpareBank 1 Mobilbank experienced a consistent download rate, starting at 1.5K and ending slightly lower at 1.5K. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 192K, peaking around mid-February, and closing the quarter at 191K.
Nordea Mobile - Norway had modest download numbers, peaking at 1.5K in early January and tapering off to 862 by the end of March. Active users remained stable, with a slight increase from 69.7K to 73.3K.
Finally, Bank Norwegian showed a steady download pattern, starting at 959 and ending at 1K. The app's weekly active users grew from 19.3K to 21.5K during the quarter.
