In the first quarter of 2025, several crime-themed games on iOS captured the attention of users in Costa Rica. Here's a look at the performance trends for the top five games in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
June’s Journey: Hidden Objects saw a peak in weekly revenue at $360 in early March, with a steady increase from January. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 72 in late March, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 200 to 230.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas experienced a decline in both revenue and downloads over the quarter. Revenue started at $201 and dropped to $64 by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar trend, with a low of 3 in mid-February, before slightly recovering.
Mafia City: War of Underworld showcased a dynamic performance, with revenue peaking at $195 at the end of March. Downloads and active users showed variability, with significant highs in mid-January and fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Manor Matters maintained a consistent revenue stream, starting and ending the quarter with around $60. Downloads, however, trended downward, while active users decreased steadily from 148 to 101.
Finally, MadOut 2: Grand Auto Racing experienced a notable drop in revenue, starting strong at $231 and ending at $15. Downloads decreased over the quarter, similar to the trend observed in active users, which fell from 192 to 73.
