The first quarter of 2025 saw notable performance trends among the leading fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the iOS platform in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into downloads and active user numbers for these popular apps.
McDonald's began the quarter with high weekly downloads, fluctuating around 230K, but experienced a significant increase to over 300K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting at 16.5M and climbing steadily to nearly 19.9M by the quarter's end.
Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery showed a consistent weekly download pattern, peaking at approximately 183K in late February. Its weekly active users grew from 3.8M to 4.6M, indicating a healthy engagement rate throughout the period.
Domino's Pizza USA had a varied download trend, starting strong at 193K and dipping to around 117K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, its active user count remained robust, ranging from 3.2M to 4.3M, showcasing steady customer interaction.
Chick-fil-A downloads hovered between 117K and 152K, while active users increased from 6.2M to 7M, reflecting a growing customer base.
Starbucks experienced a notable spike in downloads in early February, reaching over 200K. Active users peaked at 14.1M during the same period, before stabilizing around 11.4M.
