In the first quarter of 2025, the top food delivery apps on iOS in the United States showed varied performance metrics. Here's a closer look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower:
Vivino: Drink The Right Wine experienced a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $30.9K towards the end of January, followed by fluctuations, ending the quarter around $23.8K. Weekly downloads started at 9.9K, trending downwards to 5.5K by the end of March. Active users saw a decline from 282.9K at the start to 170K by the quarter's end, with some recovery mid-March.
eMeals - Healthy Meal Plans showed a consistent increase in active users from 35K to 61.6K by the end of March. Revenue peaked at $28.1K in late January, then tapered off to $12.8K by the end of the quarter. Downloads decreased steadily from 7.5K to 2.3K.
Flash Order Digital Ordering maintained low download numbers, with minimal fluctuation. Revenue was inconsistent, peaking at $1.5K in early March, and active user data was not available.
FarmersMarketHaul had a significant spike in downloads in early March, reaching 329, which coincided with a revenue peak of $1.1K. However, both metrics saw a decline towards the end of the quarter.
Utah Grub Club showed no download activity throughout the quarter, with revenue increasing sharply only at the end of March, peaking at $787.
