In the first quarter of 2025, the pirate-themed gaming genre on iOS in Australia showcased intriguing trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance as per Sensor Tower data.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War by FunPlus International AG exhibited fluctuating revenue figures, peaking at around $32K in mid-March. Downloads saw a modest peak of 723 in early February, while active users remained relatively stable, experiencing a slight increase in early February.
Pirate Kings™ from Playtika LTD maintained a steady revenue stream, averaging around $1.8K to $2.1K weekly. Downloads were minimal, with occasional spikes, such as 31 downloads in late January. The active user base hovered between 70 and 90, showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Pirate King Legend by Wenzhou Wanqiu Network Technology Co., Ltd. had a strong start in terms of revenue, reaching over $12K at the end of December. Downloads were highest in the first week with 1.5K, before dropping significantly.
Pirates of the Caribbean : ToW, developed by JOYCITY Corp, experienced a revenue increase, peaking at $1.8K in mid-February. Downloads remained relatively low, with a steady pattern of around 90 to 180 weekly. Active users showed a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, from 202 to 169.
航海霸業(國際版) by 晓芬 樊 displayed a significant revenue peak in early February at $1.6K. However, there were no recorded downloads or active users for this period, indicating a focus on monetization over user acquisition.
