In the first quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Mexico saw intriguing trends among the top pirate-themed games. Here's a closer look at how these games performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War by FunPlus International AG experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at roughly $4.6K in mid-March, while downloads saw a high of 562 in mid-February. However, active users declined from 1.9K at the quarter's start to around 324 by the end.
Last Pirate: Island Survival from RetroStyle Games maintained a modest presence. Downloads started at 131 and tapered off to 4 by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 123 to 12 over the quarter.
The performance of Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW by JOYCITY Corp was notable for its revenue growth, which surged to $239 by the end of March. Despite this, downloads dwindled to zero in the last two weeks of the quarter, and active users decreased from 57 to 21.
Pirate Raid: Caribbean Battle by SayGames LTD showed a steady increase in active users, rising to 118 by the quarter's close. Downloads also increased, with a significant rise to 74 in the final week of March.
Pirate King Legend saw a decline in both revenue and downloads early in the quarter, with numbers starting at 673 downloads and $394 in revenue, decreasing significantly by the end of the period.
