In the first quarter of 2025, the top sandbox-like games on iOS in Australia showcased varied performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights.
Roblox experienced a notable decline in weekly revenue, starting strong with over $550K in early January but dropping to around $21K by the end of March. Downloads also saw a decrease, from approximately 25K at the start to 13.6K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 870K.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! had consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $62K in the last week of March. Downloads gradually increased, reaching 708 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline, maintaining around 79K.
One State RP: Role Play Online saw fluctuations in revenue, with a peak of approximately $6K in the final week. Downloads varied significantly, dipping to 1K mid-quarter before rising to over 3K. Active users showed a resurgence, ending the quarter at around 8.3K.
IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game saw a revenue peak of about $6K in early March, with a steady download decline from 465 to 186. Active users decreased slightly from 3.3K to 2.4K.
Finally, ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live had stable revenue, peaking at over $5K in early March. Downloads started at 957, dropping to 731 by quarter's end. Active users remained steady between 9.6K and 11.1K.
