State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top shooter games on iOS in Germany exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each game’s performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Squid Game: Unleashed saw a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 82K at the beginning of January to under 1K by the end of March. Its active user count followed a similar downward trajectory, decreasing from approximately 93K to 25K over the same period.
PUBG MOBILE maintained a strong revenue stream, peaking at nearly $481K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 7K and 11K. Active users showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 130K.
Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced a surge in revenue, reaching over $200K in mid-January before settling at $109K by the end of March. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 7K weekly. The active user base decreased slightly from 198K to 162K.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games showed a steady revenue pattern, ranging from $4K to $8K throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased from 7K to approximately 2K, while active users fluctuated, ending at about 17K.
Western Sniper: Wild West FPS did not generate revenue but maintained a stable download rate, starting at over 4K and ending at around 2K. The active users increased slightly throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 8K.
