State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top shooter games on iOS in the United States demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends from Sensor Tower data.
Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. saw a peak in weekly revenue at around $4.3M in mid-January. Despite a general decline, revenue remained above $2.3M weekly. Downloads decreased from 177K to about 112K by the end of March, while active users fluctuated, starting at 4.5M and ending at approximately 3.2M.
Squid Game: Unleashed by Netflix, Inc. experienced a significant drop in downloads, from over 619K in late December to just over 9K by March's end. Its active user base decreased steadily from nearly 591K to approximately 182K over the quarter.
PUBG MOBILE by Tencent Mobile International Limited showed strong revenue growth, peaking at over $4M in the last week of March. Downloads hovered around 57K to 81K weekly, while active users saw a slight decline from 1.2M to 831K.
Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile also from Activision, maintained stable revenue, with a peak of approximately $55K in late January. Downloads ranged from 49K to 85K, and active users remained around 183K to 245K, ending the quarter at nearly 196K.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games by Wildlife Studios saw weekly revenue mostly between $52K and $76K. Downloads declined from 66K to 38K by March, while active users varied, finishing the quarter at about 147K.
