In the first quarter of 2025, the Tower Defense gaming category on iOS in Sweden saw interesting trends across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX by Netflix, Inc. showed a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching around $61 in late February. The app's downloads saw a mid-quarter increase, peaking at 546 in mid-February. However, the weekly active users experienced a gradual decline, starting at 6.5K and ending at just under 5K.
TDS - Tower Destiny Survive from SayGames LTD experienced a decline in both weekly downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $169 at the start of the year but generally trended downward, closing the quarter with a slight recovery to $147.
Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD by MY.GAMES B.V. had fluctuating weekly revenue, with a significant high of around $4.3K in late February. Downloads remained relatively stable, while active users showed a downward trend from 6.6K to approximately 4K by the end of March.
Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 from PopCap maintained consistent revenue, peaking at $635 in late January. Downloads showed a slight decline, whereas active users decreased steadily from 3.1K to just over 2K.
Lucky Defense! by 111% exhibited stable weekly revenue, with a peak of $694 at the end of January. Despite a drop in downloads, active users increased from 2.3K to 3.4K, indicating a strong engagement level among the user base.
