In the first quarter of 2025, the top beauty retail apps in the United Kingdom showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower data, here's an overview of their performance.
Boots saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at around 54K and maintaining a steady presence with slight fluctuations, ending with approximately 56K downloads. The app's weekly active users hovered around 450K, with minor variations throughout the quarter.
Superdrug - Beauty and Health experienced a peak in downloads in late January, reaching about 33.6K. Active users started at 95K, dipping to around 75K mid-quarter before stabilizing at approximately 84K by the end.
Feelunique: Limitless Beauty began the quarter with 28K downloads, witnessing a gradual decline to around 15K. The app maintained a stable user base, with active users consistently around 230K, peaking slightly in mid-March.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY: EASY BEAUTY showed a varied download pattern, starting at 6.6K and peaking at 8K in late January. Active users stayed relatively constant, around 90K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Finally, Cult Beauty: Beauty & Makeup started strong with downloads at 8K, peaking at 10K in early February, then declining to 3.8K by the end of March. Active users initially increased to 64K in early February, before settling around 55K at the quarter's close.
