In the first quarter of 2025, the Dominican Republic saw notable activity in the card battler category on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the top five applications in this genre.
Pokémon TCG Pocket, published by The Pokemon Company, experienced varied trends throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue saw peaks at approximately $8.1K at the end of January and $6.6K in late March. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase to 1.3K in late February. Active users started at around 31.9K, peaking at 38K in late January before declining to 23.2K by the end of March.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links from KONAMI maintained a steady revenue stream, ranging from $173 to $613 weekly. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around the 70-100 range weekly. Active users stayed relatively stable, averaging around 500-560 throughout the quarter.
Topps® BUNT® MLB Card Trader, by The Topps Company, Inc., had modest revenue, with a notable increase to $560 in early March. Downloads were low, generally under 100 per week, while active users showed minor fluctuations, averaging around 400.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel also from KONAMI, displayed an interesting revenue spike to $1K in mid-February. Downloads were consistent, generally staying under 100 weekly. Active users ranged from 728 to 892, showing a slight dip mid-quarter.
Finally, Hearthstone by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., saw a revenue rise to $404 in late March. Downloads peaked at 230 in the same period, while active users increased from 604 to 781.
