In the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Brazil showcased varied performances across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at each app's journey through the quarter.
Mobills - Budget Planner, from Toro Investimentos Ltda., observed a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $36K and peaking at around $40K in early January before tapering off to about $26K by the end of March. Downloads initially held steady around 28K but saw a dip mid-quarter, bottoming out at roughly 17K, before recovering to 23K. Active users experienced a gradual decline from 615K to 495K.
Organizze Budget Planner by Organizze Tecnologia LTDA saw revenue decline from $11K to $8.5K over the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 10K, dipping to 5.4K, and rebounding to 8.2K. Active user numbers showed resilience, ending the quarter at 215K from an initial 226K.
Splitwise from Splitwise, Inc., experienced a steady decline in revenue, starting at $9.7K and dropping to $6.9K. Downloads showed a significant spike in late February, reaching 16.8K, before stabilizing around 3.7K. Active users saw a drop from 389K to 259K, with a notable mid-quarter recovery to 331K.
Minhas Finanças | Pessoais, developed by Nimtech Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA, maintained a revenue range between $3.5K and $6.5K. Downloads peaked at 15K at the start of the quarter and ended at 9.5K. Active users remained relatively stable, closing at 267K.
Finally, Despezzas: controle financeiro from BGJ RESEARCH LTDA recorded revenue starting at $3.7K, peaking at $5K, and settling at $2.7K. Downloads began at 6K, dipped to 3.2K mid-quarter, and climbed back to 5K. Active users gradually increased, finishing the quarter at 29K.
