In Q1 2025, the top consumer finance apps in Spain showed varied performance on the unified platform. Here's a breakdown of how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Revolut: Send, spend and save saw a peak in weekly downloads at around 118K in mid-January. However, this number gradually declined to approximately 77K by the end of March. The app's active users started at 3.03M, rising to a high of 3.4M by the end of January, and maintained a stable presence around 3.3M through March.
BBVA Spain | Online banking experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at about 59K in early March. Active users displayed a consistent upward trend, starting at 6.87M and reaching over 7.14M by the quarter's end.
Santander España maintained a stable download rate, fluctuating between 40K and 50K throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 5M, with a notable increase in late March to 5.01M.
imagin: More than mobile bank showed a notable increase in downloads, reaching a peak of 52K in early March. Active users started at 3.68M and showed a slight decline to around 3.6M by the end of March.
CaixaBankNow: Online banking had a stable download performance, with numbers ranging from 40K to 47K. Active users began at 7.44M, dipped slightly mid-quarter, and ended at 7.09M.
