In the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Portugal showcased varied performance metrics across downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared during this period.
Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced a peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 24.2K in late January. However, a gradual decline was observed, ending the quarter at around 17.1K downloads per week. The app maintained a robust base of active users, with figures slightly fluctuating around the 1M mark throughout the quarter.
Universo Mobile Banking saw a significant uptick in weekly downloads, peaking at about 37.2K in mid-March. Active users also increased, starting from 1.2K and reaching over 69.7K by mid-March, before slightly dropping towards the end of the quarter.
Santander Portugal maintained steady weekly downloads, hovering around 6K to 8K. Active users showed resilience, with numbers mostly staying above 800K, ending the quarter with a rise to approximately 863K.
Caixadirecta experienced consistent download numbers, ranging between 5.9K and 8.5K weekly. Active users remained strong, with figures consistently around the 1M mark, showcasing stable engagement.
Millenniumbcp maintained a steady performance in downloads, fluctuating between 6.2K and 7.3K. Active users showed variability, peaking at about 698K in early January before stabilizing around 630K towards the end of the quarter.
