In the first quarter of 2025, the top dating apps in Oceania showed varied performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $434K in early February. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 16K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at about 330K.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat maintained a strong revenue stream, with weekly revenue reaching over $1.1M in March. Downloads hovered around 14K weekly, and active users began the quarter at 429K, experiencing a slight decline to 381K by the end.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a revenue peak of about $385K in early March. Downloads were steady, averaging 11K weekly, and active users showed a gradual decline, ending at approximately 272K.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative saw modest revenue growth, reaching $20K by March. Weekly downloads started strong at 10K but dipped to around 8K towards the end. Active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 23K.
Finally, Couple Joy - Relationship App showed a significant spike in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 21K in January. Revenue saw fluctuations, with a high of $6.9K in late January. Active users hit a peak of 19K in January before settling at 13K.
