In the first quarter of 2025, the top delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications in Europe showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 59K in early January and dropping to about 37K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed a gradual decrease from approximately 760K to 681K over the quarter.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine had a notable decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at nearly 80K and settling at 26K by the end of March. Weekly revenue saw an initial drop from $83.5K to $43.9K, followed by fluctuations, ending at $33.7K. Active users showed a downward trend from 595K to 336K.
Gousto downloads decreased steadily from around 14.8K to 6.3K. Active users also declined, starting at 54K and ending at approximately 51K by the quarter's end.
Bene Bono downloads showed a fluctuating trend, starting at 3.3K, peaking at 5.8K, and settling at 2.9K by the end of March.
Lastly, CrowdFarming saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning at 3K, peaking at 6K, and ending at 3.2K.
