Top Dining and Restaurant Apps in Spain for Q1 2025: Performance Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top dining and restaurant applications in Spain showcased intriguing trends on the unified platform. According to Sensor Tower, the data reveals varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement across different apps.

McDonald’s saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 40K and peaking at 45K mid-quarter. By the end of March, downloads stabilized at approximately 40K. Active users remained relatively stable, with numbers fluctuating between 1.2M and 1.5M throughout the quarter.

For BURGER KING España, weekly downloads began at 29K, with a notable increase to 32K in early January. The downloads then hovered around 22K to 26K for the rest of the quarter. Active users experienced a slight increase, starting from about 1M and reaching 1.1M by the end of March.

KFC España #PolloPollo recorded a significant spike in downloads, peaking at 86K in late January before settling between 17K and 25K. Active user numbers reflected this trend, with a peak of nearly 471K in January, declining to around 328K by the quarter's end.

Club VIPS: Promos y pedidos showed a surge in downloads, particularly notable in early February, reaching 46K. Active users also saw an increase, peaking at over 303K during the same period, before decreasing to about 236K by March's end.

Finally, TheFork - Restaurant bookings experienced steady growth in downloads, with significant rises in mid-February reaching 28K. Active users showed an increase to approximately 396K in early February, maintaining a range between 250K and 320K thereafter.
