State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in South America showcased interesting trends in downloads and user engagement. According to Sensor Tower data, the McDonald's Offers and Delivery app by Arcos Dorados Latin America saw its weekly downloads peak at around 355K in late January. Active users fluctuated, starting the quarter with approximately 8.4M and ending with an impressive 9.6M.
Burger King Brasil experienced a notable surge in downloads towards the end of March, reaching 200K. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, climbing from 3.2M to 3.5M by the end of the quarter.
The KFC APP (Ecu, Col, Chi, Arg) demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, with numbers rising from 73K at the start of January to over 104K by the end of March. Active users similarly increased from 635K to approximately 700K.
Argentina's Mostaza app saw a peak in downloads in early February at 88K, before experiencing a decline to 30K by the end of March. However, its active user base grew steadily, reaching nearly 492K.
Lastly, Starbucks Argentina maintained a stable download rate, with a slight peak in late March at 30K. Active users increased from 224K to 259K over the quarter.
