In the first quarter of 2025, the top film and television apps in Germany saw varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.
Amazon Prime Video from AMZN Mobile LLC experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.9M in late February. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of approximately 69K in early March, while weekly active users saw a decline from 3.4M to 2.6M by the end of the quarter.
Disney+ maintained a steady revenue stream, reaching about $1.4M by the end of March. Downloads decreased slightly over the quarter, ending at 40.5K. Active users also saw a drop from 2.6M to 2.1M.
Crunchyroll showed consistent revenue, peaking at about $506K in late February. Downloads increased steadily, reaching 29K in mid-March, and active users rose to over 1M by the end of March.
RTL+ from RTL interactive saw a moderate revenue peak of $377K in late February. Downloads varied, with a significant increase to 72.5K in the last week of March, while active users fluctuated around 1.8M.
Joyn | deine Streaming App observed an upswing in revenue, reaching $301K in late February. Downloads were highest at 65.8K mid-February, and active users steadily increased to nearly 2M by quarter's end.
