In the first quarter of 2025, the food delivery app market in Europe saw varied performance across the top applications, with data provided by Sensor Tower offering insights into downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform.
Vivino: Drink the Right Wine experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at around $84.7K and settling at approximately $33.7K by the end of March. Weekly downloads began at 78.2K, gradually declining to 27.4K. Active users also saw a decline from 2.18M to 1.12M over the quarter.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries showed steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $7.3K in late February. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 49.7K to 38.6K. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 1.09M before stabilizing at 998K.
Mealia - Shop & Eat Better exhibited growth in weekly revenue, increasing from $0 to $2.2K by March's end. Downloads also rose significantly, from 771 to 3.3K during the same period.
Tendy had modest revenue, beginning at $407 and declining to $397. Downloads were low, starting at 176 and decreasing to just 35 by the end of the quarter.
For Speedy Delivery: Buy & Sell, revenue was minimal throughout, peaking at $171 in March. Downloads were negligible, with only a couple of instances recorded.
