In the first quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications in Germany showed varied performance on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on insights from Sensor Tower.

TK-App by Techniker Krankenkasse saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 30.4K and peaking at 41.8K in mid-January. Active users experienced a decline from 1.4M to approximately 883K by the end of March.

Meine Allianz maintained a steady download rate, initially recording 35.4K downloads and then stabilizing around 15K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, reaching 250K by the close of March.

My AXA Mobile experienced a gradual increase in active users, peaking at 141.6K by the end of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 18K mid-January before settling around 10K.

HUK Mein Auto from HUK-COBURG showed a decline in downloads from 15.3K in early March to 6.3K by the end of the month. Active users, however, remained robust, reaching around 318K in mid-March.

DAK app had a consistent download pattern, starting at 10.3K and slightly decreasing to about 8.1K by the end of March. Active users showed a peak of 158K in mid-January, with a stabilization around 117K towards the quarter's end.
