In the first quarter of 2025, several Maps and Navigation apps stood out in Saudi Arabia, showcasing varying trends in downloads and active user metrics.
Uber - Request a ride had an interesting quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 44K and peaking at approximately 49.5K by the end of March. Active users began at over 1.2M, dipping slightly mid-quarter, but ended at nearly 1.19M.
Jeeny - Book Affordable Rides showed a dynamic pattern in downloads, with numbers ranging from 19K to 31K. Its active users started at 537K, experiencing a dip and then a recovery to about 426K by the quarter's end.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 18K to 33K. Active users had a high point of 692K in late January, settling at 579K by the end of March.
Qibla Finder Compass 100% saw its weekly revenue peak at $2.8K, with downloads reaching over 23K in late February. Active users showed a gradual increase to 80K towards the end of the quarter.
Careem: Rides, Food & more experienced a steady increase in downloads, culminating at 24.5K in the final week. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending with a robust 702K.
