In the first quarter of 2025, the top medical apps in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance trends across downloads and active user metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s a closer look at how these apps have fared on a unified platform.
Sahatna - صحتنا by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi saw a strong start with weekly downloads hitting 45.4K in early January. However, there was a noticeable decline to 14.7K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained robust, peaking at 77.3K in late February before slightly dipping to 70.4K.
myAster from ASTER DM HEALTHCARE maintained a steady download rate, starting at 8.5K and ending the quarter at 6.7K. Weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at 199.5K and closing at 194.9K, indicating consistent engagement.
Daman Health experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 7K to 5K by March. Active users also decreased from 79.3K to 44.1K, suggesting a reduction in app usage over the quarter.
The myNAS App showed a steady download trend, with numbers ranging from 5.1K to 3.5K. Interestingly, active users saw a resurgence towards the end of the quarter, climbing from 29K to 36.5K.
Finally, Lumi by Nextcare demonstrated a varied download pattern, peaking at 6K in January before settling at 4.4K in March. Active users peaked in early March at 38.1K but fell to 25.3K by the end of the quarter.
