Top 5 MOBA Apps Performance in Q1 2025 in the United States

In the first quarter of 2025, the mobile MOBA genre saw significant activity in the United States. Using data from Sensor Tower, we explore the performance of the top five applications in this category.

Pokémon UNITE from The Pokémon Company experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue towards the end of February, reaching approximately $102K. Downloads followed a similar upward trend, peaking at around 34K in early March. However, its active user base saw fluctuations, beginning at 310K and reaching 330K by mid-March, before settling at 263K by quarter's end.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by MOONTON had a strong start with revenue surpassing $1.1M in the first week, though it experienced a gradual decline, closing March with $248K. Weekly downloads surged to 71K at the end of March, while active users saw a dip from 523K to 428K over the quarter.

Honor of Kings by Level Infinite showed consistent revenue growth, peaking at $369K in late January. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 15K weekly, and active users decreased from 164K to 141K by the end of March.

Battle Cars: Nitro PvP Shooter by Tiny Bytes, although newer, showed steady growth. Revenue increased incrementally, reaching $3.5K by March end. Downloads peaked at 12K in early March, while active users rose from 1.5K to 13K over the quarter.
