State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top news and magazine apps in Israel exhibited varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Haaretz saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $22.4K in late February. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant spike to 800 in mid-March. Active users remained relatively stable, oscillating between 26.1K and 28.2K throughout the quarter.
X (Formerly Twitter) experienced an upward trend in weekly revenue, reaching $13.7K by the end of March. While downloads decreased slightly from 7K to about 5.7K, active users showed a rebound from 693.8K in early March to 721.4K at the quarter’s end.
TheMarker achieved a high in weekly revenue at $10.7K in late February. Downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around 220, while active users saw a gradual decline from 13.2K to 11.4K over the quarter.
ynet displayed a variable revenue pattern, peaking at $6.6K in early February. Downloads showed a downward trend, dropping from 2.8K to 1.1K. However, active users remained strong, fluctuating around the 400K mark.
Globes reported a peak in weekly revenue at $7.4K in late February. Downloads were steady, averaging around 220, while active users saw a slight decrease from 11.4K to 10.1K.
