In the first quarter of 2025, the personal finance app market in Sweden saw varying performance levels across leading applications on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Splitwise from Splitwise, Inc. showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $590 in the last week of March. Weekly downloads followed an upward trajectory, closing the quarter at around 1.8K, while active users started at 39K and showed fluctuations, ending at about 41K.
Dreams - Spara till drömmar experienced a significant spike in downloads mid-January, reaching over 3.2K. However, downloads trended downward towards the end of the quarter, finishing around 214. Active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining a range between 11K and 15K.
Hello Penny av Sparmakarna had an unusual peak in downloads in mid-January, with numbers reaching 6.4K. This was followed by a sharp decline, with downloads stabilizing between 20 and 185 in subsequent weeks.
WhatIBuy saw a notable increase in downloads at the beginning of January, with numbers peaking at 3.4K. However, downloads decreased significantly thereafter, maintaining lower figures towards the end of the quarter.
Finally, Spiris Scanner maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 400 and 600 during the quarter, showing resilience in user acquisition.
