In the first quarter of 2025, the racing games market in Romania showcased notable trends across the top five titles, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
CSR 2 - Realistic Drag Racing from Zynga Inc. saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at about $3.9K in mid-March. Downloads experienced a significant rise to 2.3K in mid-February, while active users dropped from 11.5K to 7.4K by the end of the quarter.
Need for Speed No Limits Game by Electronic Arts started strong with revenue at $4.1K in early January, tapering to $2K by the end of March. Downloads remained robust, reaching 3.3K in early March, although active users decreased from 15.3K to 13.3K over the quarter.
Asphalt Legends Unite from Gameloft recorded a revenue spike to $3.4K in early March. Downloads, however, dwindled to 584 in early March, and active users dropped from 4K to 2.8K by quarter's end.
Pocket Champs PVP Racing Games, published by MADBOX, showed a steady revenue trend, peaking at $1.7K in mid-February. Downloads saw a surge to 3.7K mid-March, with active users climbing from 3.9K to 5.5K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Real Racing 3: Car Race Game also from Electronic Arts, maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $1.5K in late February. Downloads were highest at 3.3K the same week, while active users rose from 9.7K to 10K by the end of March.
