State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, the top shopping applications in the United Kingdom showed varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Amazon Shopping started the quarter with a weekly revenue of approximately $256K, which saw a steady rise, peaking at around $319K by the end of March. Downloads, however, decreased gradually from 83.7K to 59.4K. The app maintained a large user base, with active users fluctuating around 21M throughout the quarter.
Hot in Hollywood experienced a significant surge in revenue, particularly in March, reaching a high of $25.8K. Downloads also spiked mid-March, hitting 11.9K. Active users grew from 76 to 4.5K by the end of the quarter.
Independent Birmingham saw a modest increase in revenue, starting at $1.8K and ending the quarter at $2.7K. Download activity was minimal, with only a small number of downloads recorded in January.
Souk - Second Hand Alerts experienced a decline in both revenue and downloads over the quarter. Revenue decreased from $2.9K to just over $1K, while downloads fell from 97 to 168.
Finally, Style DNA: Fashion AI Stylist showed a stable performance in revenue, ranging from $1.6K to $2.6K. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 2.3K in late January, while active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 1K.
